SHOT Show and ATA Recap: What’s Coming in 2026

Every year, shows like SHOT Show and ATA give us a chance to step back from the day-to-day grind, talk face-to-face with hunters, dealers, and partners, and take the temperature of the archery industry as a whole.

And once again, the message was clear.

Hunters aren’t looking for gimmicks. They’re looking for gear that works—consistently, reliably, and in real hunting situations. That philosophy has always guided how we design and build products at Vantage Point Archery, and it’s exactly what shaped the new gear we introduced heading into 2026.

Below is a closer look at what we launched, why we built it, and what hunters can expect from VPA moving forward.

What Shows Like SHOT and ATA Reinforced for Us

After hundreds of conversations on the show floor, a few themes kept coming up again and again:

Those conversations don’t just validate what we’re doing—they sharpen it. Every new product we launch starts with the same question: Does this make a hunter’s setup stronger, simpler, or more repeatable in the field?

If the answer isn’t yes, we don’t build it.

Omega Ascender Series: A Stronger, Simpler Arrow System

One of the biggest launches for 2026 is the Omega Ascender Series, designed for both crossbow and compound shooters who want a cleaner, stronger arrow setup without unnecessary parts.

Instead of relying on separate outserts or components that introduce alignment issues, the Omega Ascender combines the head and outsert into one integrated system. The result is a straighter arrow, improved durability, and better consistency shot after shot—especially at higher speeds.

• Outsert-free design for a simpler, stronger setup

• High-speed stability for crossbow and compound applications

• Single-bevel design

• Modular total weight options (125, 150, 175, and 200 grains total weight)

Arrow Fletching Jig: Consistency You Can See and Feel

Another common topic at the shows was arrow consistency. Hunters know that even the best broadhead can’t perform if the arrow behind it isn’t built correctly.

That’s where our Arrow Fletching Jig comes in.
