These three blade broad-heads have a great reputation so I thought I would try them this season from my recurve. Quality is excellent with very good machining, pyramid style tip is already there so it won’t need to be filed in and made from one piece of steel so they should hold up well. I think they sharpened up easier than another brand of three blades that I had in the past. Archery season is 2-1/2 months away so I haven’t shot any game with them yet but I’m hoping for good performance with great blood trails.

I have used the 3 blade 100gr for 10+ years, they are great, I have only bent a few blades, and that is from the rock after the pass through shot. I initially bought these to hog hunt, but after seeing the performance i ditched my expandables and use them on every arrow now. I would recommend to anyone that uses a fixed blade

Ive been hunting with trad gear for over 45 years. I've used many broadheads during that time. My broadhead ischoice is the 200 grain long three blade from VPA. Easy to sharpen, flies perfectly and the things are like tanks. Last year I took 4 deer and a huge hog, all shot with same broadhead and all wre pass through with a 47# recurve. You cannot go wrong with VPA broadheads.

I just bought these and wanted to try them out. After taking them out of the package and reading they need to be sharpen some more I looked up how to sharpen them go to Harbor freight and get 1000 grit and 2000 grit sandpaper if you already have a sharpening stone Use that first and then hit the 1000 grit and 2000 grit they come out shaving hair sharp. I just shot my first buck with them the other day and I am very satisfied. I took that head and re-sharpened it and put it right back in the quiver .

I've been shooting these for about 2 years now and these broadheads are rock solid. Taken several whitetails with them and they just keep coming back for more. They fly great and get super sharp. Can't recommend these enough.
I ended up missing my broadhead target and had one go through the 1/4" rubber sheet then through a 3/4" sheet of plywood I have behind my targets. Edges are fine and the head still shoots true.

Used your 150grn., three blade, 1 1/8", solids to down an eight pointer in his tracks, with a shoulder shot. Several days later shot a maiden doe which was done in 30 yards. Thank you! For making some Awesome broadheads that shoot straight and penetrate well out of an Excalibur .

I think the 3 blade 175 grain will be great broadheads. The only problem I see is that as expensive that they are they should come ready to screw on and hunt. The easy sharpening they say? I've watched all kinds of videos on how to sharpen them and it works but you better have plenty of time to do it.

Using 150 grn. solids at 38 yards, a through the shoulder shot with excaliber micro mag 340 crossbow. 8 point mature buck paralized in his tracks. Had to use a "saws-all" to cut the broadhead out of the opposite of the spine. Still in excellent shape, a few strokes and back shaving.
Accuracy of these broadheads are amazing at fifty yards, using quill 16.5" bolts, and with the vanes indexed with the blades.

Opening day I sent an arrow on a doe at 42 yards. I figured she’d drop so I held low, which she did. She also rolled away and my arrow entered in her back ham!
I shoot a 525gr arrow with a 31.5” draw and 65lb bow, and the arrow buried to the fletching stopping in the offside shoulder.
I’m glad I had this head for the job! The deer went less than 60yd out of the field and expired in less than 15 seconds.

I have used the VPA 175 grain screw in since they were green and they are an awesome head. Have taken several whitetails with my recurve and they never fail to perform. Complete pass throughs, super easy to sharpen, maintain their sharpness, and spin true.
