I bought 2 packs of 100 grain vented. I received one package and one was missing. VPA got right in the replacement. I do not have issues with sharpening as the steel takes an edge well, but mine are riddled with gouges and chips in the edge, I was told this was just “the burr” and instructed to sharpen them. I have spent more than 30 minutes per head sharpening, from 600 grit to help clean up the chips, and many steps up to 6000 and stropping, I have a near mirror finish but gouges and chips remain, leaving it tearing instead of cutting. I have not shot these at an animal yet, and am not sure if I will.

First year trying out the 250grain 3blade out of a 60# recurve. Resulting in a 23 yard complete pass through on a good bull !

After shooting 2 blades in my self bows and fighting to tune every arrow to the heads I switched to a 3 blade and went with VPA 150 grain heads. I cannot tell the difference in them and my field points. They fly like darts. They are built like a tank and came razor sharp out of the package. I have no doubt that they will do the job flawlessly on pigs, bear and deer if I can just do my part and put it where it goes.

These three blade broad-heads have a great reputation so I thought I would try them this season from my recurve. Quality is excellent with very good machining, pyramid style tip is already there so it won’t need to be filed in and made from one piece of steel so they should hold up well. I think they sharpened up easier than another brand of three blades that I had in the past. Archery season is 2-1/2 months away so I haven’t shot any game with them yet but I’m hoping for good performance with great blood trails.

I have used the 3 blade 100gr for 10+ years, they are great, I have only bent a few blades, and that is from the rock after the pass through shot. I initially bought these to hog hunt, but after seeing the performance i ditched my expandables and use them on every arrow now. I would recommend to anyone that uses a fixed blade

Ive been hunting with trad gear for over 45 years. I've used many broadheads during that time. My broadhead ischoice is the 200 grain long three blade from VPA. Easy to sharpen, flies perfectly and the things are like tanks. Last year I took 4 deer and a huge hog, all shot with same broadhead and all wre pass through with a 47# recurve. You cannot go wrong with VPA broadheads.

Best 3 blade I have ever used. Worked great on 1st doe of the year last Saturday. Love these and will buy more when needed. Fly as good as field points. And are easy to get razor sharp.

The S7 steel 250 grain head sharpened up to a razor edge. Im getting great arrow flight, EVEN with NO FLETCHING. Looking forward to putting one through a bucks rib cage

I have it flying like a dot out to 90 yards . Hits right with my field points .
I am shooting an Easton 5.0 340 at 27” with 235 grains total on the front w/ 4 fletch Max Hunters on the back . This is out of a 62 # Darton 3800 at 28” . Total arrow weight is something like 470plus .

Shot my first longbow doe with a 250 grain 3-blade mated to a 200 grain insert. Longbow is 56lbs. at 26" Arrow got deflected by a twig and made an lackluster hip shot.
Upon inspecting the point of impact, I noticed large amounts of bright red blood sprayed everywhere - I hit an artery. I found her in 70 yards expired.
I retrieved my arrow and my broadhead was undamaged, just needed resharpening. The impressive part is when I processed her I notice the hip bone was completely shattered-Perfect performance.
This head helped me fill this tag against all odds & is durable enough to be reused. Highly recommend.
