  • Designed for Deep Penetration & Durability

VPA 2-Blade Single Bevel Broadheads are precision CNC machined from a single piece of steel for maximum strength and reliability in the field. The solid one-piece construction allows the ferrule to fully support the blade all the way to the bone-splitting tip.

These broadheads are available in two material options:

Premium Tool Steel (S7)

Heat treated to 56–58 Rockwell for exceptional durability, edge retention, and resistance to impact.

Carbon Tool Steel (1045)

Heat treated to 50–52 Rockwell, providing excellent toughness and a razor-sharp edge at an economical price point.

The VPA single bevel design features ideal blade thickness, aggressive 35° bevel angles, and straight blade geometry that promotes deep penetration and structural strength.

Single bevel broadheads rotate as they pass through bone and tissue, helping split bone and create devastating wound channels while maintaining forward momentum.

This design philosophy follows recommendations from the Ashby Bowhunting Foundation, emphasizing straight blade profiles for strength, penetration, and long-term durability.

Note: Match right bevel heads with right helical vanes/feathers and left bevel heads with left helical vanes/feathers.

Broadheads come with a factory grind. Final sharpening is recommended prior to hunting.

Note: Ensuring proper care for your equipment is crucial to maintain its performance and longevity. Our broadheads can be susceptible to rust if not properly cared for. It's important to note that even stainless steel can corrode over time. To prevent this, we recommend keeping them dry, regularly sharpening them, and applying a protective layer of oil or Vaseline/ChapStick before storing them back in the quiver. By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your broadheads consistently meet and exceed your expectations.

"The VPArchery broad head flew perfectly for a 47yd shot. It went through both shoulder bones with ease. He went 40 yds and piled up!”

These single bevels flew almost perfectly with my field points. I was sure to use a left twisted bowstring and left fletched arrows. I like them so much I purchased another set. Looking forward to this deer season.

Very high quality and great arrow flight!

I love the weight variety available with these heads. Also, the steel used is very tough. I just wish these had a grind angle of 30 degrees or less so it would be easier to use the Work Sharp knife sharpener. That is my main complaint since they don’t come razer sharp from the factory. Mine were not sharp out of the box but I hear soon the new ones will ship sharp. (Please lower the grind angle, it took me over an hour per broadhead to reprofile the bevel angle to 30 degrees)

One tough piece of steel!

I think they are great. Everything I've heard and seen on the internet says this. Unfortunately because I am English we are not allowed to hunt with a bow and arrow in the uk so I will be going abroad to Europe or possibly America to do some hunting. Wish me luck.

Tough stuff

Vpa single bevel 200grn, shot a deer with one of these after it hit rocky dirt in the Pennsylvania mountains and was re sharpend. Spin tested and was still true so I sharpened and reloaded!! I'll never buy another broadhead, totally satisfied with the product!

Tough, but difficult to sharpen

I've shot two deer with these. Both times worked very well. The second shot was a 90% pass-through on a quartering-to big buck. I recovered him in under 50 yards, but the arrow pulled the remaining way through somewhere along his death run so I never found the head. The first one went through some bone and just needed some stropping to sharpen.

I didn't give these the full 5 stars because of the steep bevel angle making them difficult to sharpen. They come with a 35 degree bevel while every jig I find has a maximum 30 degree sharpening angle.

Though it does take a bit of effort to sharpen these, I will continue shooting them for the foreseeable future, and will be making a trip to attempt recovering the lost head. They really are very tough, and fly great with my setup.

More than does the job

Was looking for a single bevel head when I found these last year. Shot my 2022 Buck with the 2 blade 200 grain head. Double lung and he didn't know he was dead much less shot. 20 yard recovery. Holds a great edge. Buying more and taking elk hunting.

Love these broadheads, i get complete pass throughs. Keep them sharp.

FAQs

A single bevel broadhead features blade edges that are ground on one side of the edge while the opposite side remains flat. This asymmetrical edge geometry causes the broadhead to rotate as it passes through tissue and bone. The rotation can help split bone, maintain forward momentum, and create larger wound channels for deeper penetration and improved blood trails.

VPA single bevel broadheads are available in two material options:

Premium Tool Steel (S7) – Heat treated to 56–58 Rockwell, offering maximum durability, edge retention, and resistance to impact.

Carbon Tool Steel (1045) – Heat treated to 50–52 Rockwell, providing excellent toughness and a sharp edge at a more economical price point.

Both materials are designed to withstand the demands of serious hunting.

Yes. VPA Single Bevel broadheads are designed to be sharpened and reused. Because they are CNC machined from a single piece of steel, they have no welds or weak points, allowing hunters to maintain and reuse the same broadhead for multiple hunts with proper sharpening.

Yes. Always match the bevel direction with your arrow’s helical.

Right bevel heads should be used with right helical vanes or feathers

Left bevel heads should be used with left helical vanes or feathers

Matching these ensures proper arrow rotation and optimal performance.
