ILF stands for International Limb Fitting. It’s a standardized system that allows you to mix and match risers and limbs from different manufacturers, giving you more flexibility when building your setup.
The 13" is the shortest and quickest to handle in tight cover and blinds. The 15" is the middle ground. The 17" builds the longest bow of the three. With medium limbs, expect about a 56" bow on the 13", 58" on the 15" and 60" on the 17". The full bow-length chart is in the description above.

I have the 13" riser and I have had absolutely no issues with it, I was even able to take a P&Y buck with it during the 2025 season...
I recently purchased the 15" riser in hopes of maybe repeating that in the upcoming years.
Well built, solid components, precision mad.
Only issue I have, with the purchase of my new 15" riser...I did not receive an VPA decal for my truck window..., lol!

I purchased the 13" riser and I definitely give it 5 stars for quality build, fit and finish. I also like that the pad angles allow poundage for limbs from a 19" riser to remain very close in poundage, or at least it did for me. Normally when you reduce the riser size poundage increases roughly 1# per inch. I do need to mention that the side limb alignment adjusting screws came loose. I installed the limbs and they seemed to align nicely so I started shooting. To my dismay, one of the screws had backed out so far that it almost fell from the riser, so please remember to snug them down. Another mention is that the lock screws for the limb tiller and poundage adjustment bolts come in from the side of the screw so will dig into the threads of that bolt so be careful to snug them lightly or you will have trouble turning those bolts in the future as the threads could be damaged. Also be aware that you must add and pay extra for the grip as it does not automatically come with the riser.

Quality piece of equipment,American Made a reasonable cost for today’s prices. Small hiccup in packing and shipping it arrived without limb bolts but they were gotten to me in 2 days. A bit of swag would’ve helped there..haha!

Cannot say enough good things about this riser. The fit and finish is spectacular. Love the jager grip they come with and the machine work is impeccable. The quietness of this riser is as quiet if not quieter than some of my wood bows. I put a set of Nika C1 medium limbs on this bow and it gained the same poundage as a 17" riser would. The bow points very well and love the fact that it has stainless hardware. The adjustable center shot bolt is a very simple tuning adjustment and the shelf has the nice hump for shooting off the shelf with great clearance. This bow paper tuned for me very easily shooting off the shelf. Not to mention VPA customer service is great if you have any questions. If you are wanting to get into the ILF world I can't recommend this one enough!

Bought this riser in 2021 during my archery season because I wanted a shorter bow to hunt from blinds or from my knees,within a few days of receiving and tuning to my tradtech black max limbs with overall length of 54”, I was able to harvest 2 Whitetails at 20 yards and plenty of small game taken since. Sweet bow,well crafted and am looking forward to using it for many years to come.

I was wanting a short hunting bow, and liked the idea of an ILF bow with all of the options to them. This 13in riser with short limbs makes a 54in AMO bow; with my 26in draw length its a sweet combo. I was curious how this bow would point and aim with it being short, after the first little bit of shooting that all went away. All I can say is this bow points and shoots very well! I would highly recommend this riser. Awesome Job VPA!!

I ordered the 15-inch with the low grip, it's a dream! I'm shooting it with Old Mountain Archery Panther longbow limbs! The best hybrid bow for me!
